Having had an interest in art for most of my life, even dabbling with painting from time to time, in 1991 I decided to take it more seriously and started what has been a wonderful journey. I joined a local art club where I continued to learn more about painting technique. After moving to Gateshead in 2001 I joined the Gateshead Art Society where I had some success in their exhibitions as well as making many new friends. In May 2016 I moved to the Morpeth area, and in November joined the very friendly Morpeth Art Group. I now look forward to continuing my painting with the group for many years to come.
