Umbrella Lady
Keeping it loose!

The subject was ‘figures with umbrellas’. Jacqui generously shared her beautiful techniques with our members and her workshop was a huge hit.

JASON SKILL ‘LIGHT TOUCH WATERCOLOUR’ WORKSHOP

04/02/2022

Less is more and knowing what to leave out . . .
The Group enjoyed a very informative workshop this week with the talented Jason Skill. We were encouraged to add more planning to our work , thinking about composition, directing the flow of the painting and to know what to leave out in our composition. Although the workshop was primarily about using watercolour, the theories behind Jason’s workshop applied to all mediums. Thank you to Jason for a very enjoyable and fun time spent with our group members.
